How this site is paid for

Drink With Us is free to read. It costs money to run, and three things help pay for it.

Partner ads. Some pages carry an ad for a local business. Each one is a paid placement we agreed to with that business, and it's labelled as an ad. Paying for an ad doesn't get a business a guide, a listing, or a kinder word; the guides are written separately and only about places we'd send a friend.

Travel bookings. Lauren is a Fora travel advisor. If you plan or book travel through her, Fora pays her a commission from the hotel or supplier. It doesn't cost you more, and you often get perks (upgrades, credits) that come with booking through an advisor. You're never required to book through Fora to use anything on this site.

Minthorn Mercantile. Lauren owns Minthorn, the shop in downtown Newberg that "Dress for it" and some shop links point to. When we recommend Minthorn, that's us recommending our own store, and we say so.
