L’Angolo Estate

A family-owned estate on 24 acres sloping eastward on the north side of the Dundee Hills, planted on the site of a long-abandoned nut orchard. Production is 100% estate-grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, made in a classical style rooted in Burgundian tradition with a deliberately hands-off approach in the cellar. The stated aim is texture, freshness, and elegance rather than power.

Chase Renton is owner and Director of Winemaking, working alongside consulting winemaker Tracy Kendall, who spent ten harvests with Burgundian winemaker Jean-Nicolas Méo before founding her own Eola-Amity Hills label, Folly of Man. Hollings and Lou Renton are proprietors.

The signature Aperitivo Hour draws on Italian wine culture: five estate wines poured alongside a curated antipasto selection that has included Parmigiano Reggiano with aged balsamic, Olympia Provisions salumi, grissini, and grilled artichokes. The tasting room has a fireplace, oversized windows onto the vineyard, and outdoor patio seating.

Estate Director Galen Hegarty joined in 2025, bringing two decades in Napa and the Willamette Valley, and has built out a collaborative hospitality program including pop-up dinners and Aperitivo Takeovers with regional restaurants such as Café Olli, Café Rowan, Larder Provisions, and Fillmore Trattoria.
