Furioso Vineyards

An estate winery on Worden Hill Road in the Dundee Hills, owned by Giorgio Furioso, whose contemporary art collection is installed throughout the property. The tasting room runs roughly seventy feet with fourteen-foot windows facing the vineyard, and the building has been recognized by Rizzoli among the twenty-five most beautiful wineries in the world. Wines are named for people from Furioso’s life, and hosts tell those stories as part of the tasting.

Wines are estate-grown and made with native fermentation, unfined and unfiltered. Alongside Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the estate produces Friulano, a northern Italian white variety planted almost nowhere else in Oregon. Charcuterie is available and gets consistent praise, with accompaniments like pickled squash and spiced blackberry jam.

Wooden Heart operates a converted camp trailer on the property, serving wood-fired pizza, which makes this one of the few tasting rooms in the Dundee Hills where a full meal is available on site. Dogs are welcome on the piazza, and there’s shaded outdoor seating alongside the indoor room.
