McMinnville’s Farmer’s Market

Overview

Address

Downtown McMinnville Farmers Market, Northeast 2nd Street, McMinnville, OR, USA

Hours

Thursdays, May through October 2026 hours vary by source

Every Thursday from May through October, Cowls Street closes and more than sixty vendors set up between First and Third, right beside City Hall and a block off Historic Third Street.

This is where the chefs shop. Several of the restaurants and wineries on this site source here weekly, and if you’ve eaten well in McMinnville, some of it probably came off these tables.

What’s on offer runs the full range: seasonal produce, farm-raised meats, cut flowers, baked goods, wine, cheese, prepared food, and handmade goods. Vendors are juried by a steering committee, and everything has to be produced locally — no resellers.

Even Pull Farm has been coming since 2015 with produce and flower bouquets, and runs a Market Share program where you prepay and get bonus credit. Alchemist’s Jam came up through this market and was recently featured in Forbes for its work on food preservation and resilience.

The season splits into a main run from late May through early September and a late season through late October, with some vendors attending by the week.

They accept EBT and SNAP, and participate in Double Up Food Bucks, which matches SNAP dollars spent on fruits and vegetables.

Grab lunch to go, fill a bag for the rental kitchen, and take the flowers.
