La Rambla brings the food of the Iberian Peninsula to the heart of Oregon wine country. Set in the historic Schilling Building — the oldest brick structure in McMinnville — the dining room pairs rustic character with a warm, low-lit elegance that has made it a downtown fixture for two decades.
The kitchen builds Spanish classics around what the Willamette Valley grows best. Bacon-wrapped Medjool dates stuffed with blue cheese, sautéed garlic chili shrimp, and saffron paella with seafood and chorizo anchor a menu that rewards ordering widely and sharing everything. Alongside the traditional favorites are lesser-known dishes waiting to be discovered by curious diners, and vegetarian and gluten-free guests are genuinely looked after rather than accommodated as an afterthought.
Then there’s the wine. The list is among the most extensive in Oregon, drawing from both Oregon and Spain, and has earned Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence, recognition from Wine Enthusiast, and the Oregon Wine Press Superior Cellar Award. The bar turns out house sangria and Spanish-style gin and tonics for anyone who’d rather start there. The adjoining Social Room seats up to 54 for private events.
