A fine dining restaurant in a restored 1857 farmhouse, listed on the National Register of Historic Places and originally built by Oregon pioneer Joel Palmer. The kitchen is known for wild mushroom cuisine, with mushrooms and Oregon truffles appearing across seasonally changing prix-fixe menus of five or ten courses. Chef-owner Christopher Czarnecki is a fourth-generation restaurateur; his family has cooked with wild mushrooms since 1916.
The wine program centers on Oregon, with a cellar of more than 2,000 bottles and 600-plus selections, roughly 96% from the state. The restaurant also hosts private events and rehearsal dinners, and offers patio seating in season.
