Most of Yamhill County’s tasting rooms close by five. Stoller Wine Bar doesn’t. It’s a fabulous downtown tasting room, live music venue, bar and lively joint that stays open into the evening and gives Newberg something to do after dinner.
It was once home to Chehalem Winery, but in 2025 it took on a new name within the same family. It now pours across the whole Stoller Wine Group portfolio so you can enjoy estate Pinot and Chardonnay alongside labels you’d otherwise be driving to four separate tasting rooms to find. Beyond wine there’s beer, wine-based cocktails, and a real non-alcoholic list, plus small plates built for sharing across a table.
The programming is what keeps locals coming back rather than just visitors. Live music runs Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 7 to 9, spanning genres and featuring regional artists — blues and roots, New Orleans-rooted soul, indie folk, decade-spanning covers. Midweek fills in with trivia and beginner-friendly line dancing, and bingo, karaoke, cornhole tournaments, and a Craft & Sip series pairing art classes with wine rotate through the calendar. Shows are free to attend; wine and food are available for purchase.
